Many Cascadia staff, interns, and friends participate in the annual event Procession of the Species. Each year we carry water, dolphins, and other marine mammals made by Cascadia staff members alongside thousands of artists, musicians, and community members as we process through the streets of downtown Olympia. Below are some photos from this years event, including the popular narwhal (also a luminary which participates in the annual luminary procession the night before the main event).
