Hello everyone!
My name is Christina Verkhovliak! I grew up in Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at The University of Akron. Always having a love for animals, I decided to switch my path and pursue a career in helping our wildlife and planet. Although I am still uncertain of what field truly sparks me, I am stepping my foot in different areas and learning what each field has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, working out, trying different cuisines, and my favorite of all: traveling! In the future, I would love to integrate my wildlife career with traveling to different countries.
I am thrilled to be working with Cascadia Research Collective, as an intern for the Hawai’i office.
