Cascadia at the Barcelona World Marine Mammal Conference 2019
07-19-2021 17:07
From December 7th-12th, 2019 Cascadia Research staff and affiliates will be participating in the World Marine Mammal Conference in Barcelona, Spain. Hosted by the Society for Marine Mammalogy and the European Cetacean Society, this meeting will bring together scientists, policymakers, and managers from over 60 countries for six days of sharing, learning, and constructive dialogue.
Below are the titles and authors of presentations at the conference, including the presentation type (poster, speed talk, talk) and the time and location, in case you want to attend! For some of these presentations we’ve also included links to other pages that give more information on these studies or species. The titles are organized by date of presentation (each poster is being presented on two different days), and within that are listed by geographic region where the work took place (Hawaiʻi, U.S. west coast, U.S. east coast), or at least where Cascadia’s contribution to larger studies fits in.
If you want to view the abstracts for any of these presentations you can find them in the detailed scientific program for the conference, just click on the Speakers link and search for any of the presenters.
