Andi Gero

Andi Gero started at CRC in March 2023 as a West Coast intern while she transitioned out of the United States Army. She primarily works stranding response and research, and assists with a variety of West Coast projects. She holds a BS in Biology: Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation from the University of Washington and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitation Professional. Her areas of interest include stranding trends, epidemiology (especially of emergent and zoonotic diseases), and the interconnectedness of marine and terrestrial health.
